1. Information We Collect

When you register for SentimentRisks.com, we collect your email address and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details). We also log API requests, including the company names you analyse, timestamps, and usage counts, to enforce plan limits and detect abuse.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provision and maintain your subscription and API access
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, invoices, rage-spike alerts you register for)
  • Monitor platform health, prevent abuse, and enforce plan limits
  • Improve our sentiment models and service quality

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Subscriber records and API usage data are stored in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage) infrastructure hosted in the European Union and United States. Cloudflare complies with GDPR. Report data you request through the dashboard is processed ephemerally and is not permanently stored on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe — payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and KV storage.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI analysis. Queries include only publicly available company names; no personal data is sent to Claude.
  • Google BigQuery / GDELT — public media data source; no personal data is shared.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your API key on your device for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Analytics are aggregated and anonymous.

6. Data Retention

Subscriber records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days for accounting purposes. API usage counters expire automatically after 35 days. You may request full deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@sentimentrisks.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. API keys are generated with cryptographically secure random number generators. We do not log API key values in plaintext.
